We’re a small team with big plans! Help us grow! We’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Champion to develop relationships with partners, clients, and prospective clients, research and analyze procurement opportunities, maintain our CRM system, and perform outreach. Additionally, you’ll help us build our brand through marketing outreach. If you’re looking to make a difference and grow your skills, the sky’s the limit!
Sales and Marketing Champion Essential Job Functions:
- Follow a prescribed discipline to research the target customer’s organizational structure, strategic plans, procurement forecasts, and posted solicitations; set up appointments with key decision makers and influencers; and gather and disseminate competitive/contract intelligence internally.
- Actively participate in the Business Development pipeline meetings and follow up on action items. Update company business development/CRM database and produce management reports.
- Support sales activities by customizing capability statements and other collateral materials, attending vendor outreach sessions, and disseminating materials to prospects and partners as requested.
- Craft marketing messages and communicate strong, clear branding to targets. This includes but is not limited to social media, website and blog content, collateral materials, trade show strategies, article placement, newsletters, and press releases.
- All other duties necessary to help the company achieve its growth goals.
Sales and Marketing Champion Requirements:
- Knowledge of the federal procurement industry or willingness to develop that new knowledge
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills in both individual and group settings without fear of asking questions
- Resourcefulness in solving problems that may not have straightforward solutions
- Terrific interpersonal skills with a “pitch-in to get it done” and “willingness to help
- Comfortable working independently and on collaborative teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work on multiple detailed projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Persistence to reach out to others to gather information and set up appointments
- Ability to write clearly, accurately, and informatively, adapting writing style to a specific audience or purpose
- Intermediate to advanced-level Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong internet research and social media skills
- Photoshop skills are a big bonus
- Knowledge of Agile product development or organizational development is a big bonus
An Agile Program and Team Coach assists our clients in leading the continued adoption and execution of Agile principles and practices across the organization, focusing on the program and team levels. This person will guide the adoption of the growth mindset in support of delivering innovative products to the market through increased creativity, autonomy, and collaboration. Program and Team coaches help the delivery team collaborate with the business, stakeholders, and functional departments to foster the development of successful products.
Agile Coach Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years experience as an Agile Coach.
- MUST be able to write and coach the writing of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
- Provide coaching and training at the program and team levels in an emerging Agile environment
- Proven success coaching teams to adopt Agile methodologies.
- Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and team members to coach them in their journey of adopting agile
- Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal agile practices tailored to the client
- Experience with approaches for scaling agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) a plus.
- Experienced in coordinating the work of multiple teams.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience with Story Mapping, PI Planning, and Road Mapping.
- Ability to facilitate discussion at all levels of the organization to resolve conflicts.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to executive leadership
- Advanced technical skills.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Stays current in the Agile space as exemplified by ongoing education in Agile frameworks training, conference attendance, user group participation, and self-study.
- Perform in various agile roles, including Scrum Master, where needed.
A Scrum Master is a partner of the Product Owner and Team, minimizing disorder, optimizing flow, and fostering business value delivery. Assists the team in embodying agile practices and principles and maximizing productivity through a clear product vision. Perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, connect and build relationships with SMEs and stakeholders, write user stories, and document acceptance criteria. Translate difficult technical concepts to non-technical users.
Scrum Master Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a senior team member, responsible for facilitating the adoption, implementation, and sustainability of Agile processes, principles, and practices.
- Provide high-touch and hands-on team guidance, support, and coaching in close cooperation and collaboration across all roles and functions, to facilitate increasing maturity at a sustainable pace.
- Assist team members in identifying, prioritizing, and either clearing or escalating impediments.
- Provide agile training to Product Owners and Teams (i.e., individual and workshops)
- Serve as an advisor to teams, leading by example and challenging the status quo.
- Perform ongoing assessments of the teams’ Scrum maturity to inform ongoing support decisions.
- Cultivate Communities of Practice.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure vision, road map and personas are well-defined and understood.
- Guide teams on becoming better at facilitation and focusing teams on completing tasks.
- Help teams continuously reflect and improve, becoming more effective in their roles and increasing their predictability, collaboration, and quality practices.
- Promote an environment and culture of experimentation and innovation.
- Foster a trusting environment focused on servant leadership and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Agile adherence and consistency while maintaining teams’ abilities to be self-directed.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users and foster strong relationships.
- Manage competing resources and priorities.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
Scrum Master Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or Scrum Master.
- MUST be able to write user stories and document acceptance criteria.
- MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
- Experience with approaches for scaling agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) a plus.
- Experienced in coordinating the work of multiple teams.
- Leading Scrum of Scrums a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Work experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Story Mapping.
- Ability to facilitate discussion at all levels of the organization to resolve conflicts.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
